The new PEAR package File_Passwd-1.0b1 (beta) has been released at http://pear.php.net/.
Release notes
-------------
* Stripped deprecated code from File_Passwd.
* Added encryption constants for NT and LM hash.
* Refined passwd generation and moved encryption methods to File_Passwd.
* Fixed a minor bug in File_Passwd_Cvs::save() which added an empty system user.
* Fixed some major bugs in File_Passwd_Smb, so this extension should work properly now; the
following methods have been fixed:
o addUser(), modUser()
o changePasswd(), verify[Encrypted]Passwd()
o staticAuth(), save()
* Added test cases for File_Passwd and File_Passwd_Smb.
