Interbase 5.

Hi, I´m a quite new user to PEAR and I have a question about how to user Interbase 5 with PEAR. The problem as it seems would be that the PHP ibase-extension uses the highest SQL dialect available in your Interbase client libraries so if you use a client library that has Interbase 6 support you PHP tries to use a higher dialect than your database supports. Interbase 5 only supports dialect 1 if I´m correct (at least our databases). The question would be, is there a way to set the dialect and charset params with PEAR or do I have to modify the PEAR classes to achieve this? Best regards Mattias Sundberg, Strålfors AB Sweden
