Hello Maxim,
I'm sure Lorenzo can address the specific problem you raise, but I'd like to point out that when the major version number increased from 1.x to 2.x, that implied that BC breaks are possible - we just spent several hundred emails and many realtime conversations arguing and worked out at least that much, check out http://pear.php.net/group/docs/20031114-bbr.php for specifics.
Pager 2.0 was released long before this document, otherwise it would be Pager2
Regards,
Greg

Hi, Excuse me if I missed some announcements but the behavior of latest Pager (2.0) seems strange to me. From the following code I expect to get "1, 0" but Pager returns "-9, 0" BC break? <code> require_once 'Pager/Pager.php'; $params['totalItems'] = 0; $params['perPage'] = 10; $pager =& new Pager($params); list($from, $to) = $pager->getOffsetByPageId(); echo "$from, $to"; </code>
