Hi Arnoud, I had a play with LiveUser several months ago but back then I wasn't happy with the package. At least for my database (Postgresql) the schema didn't work (or I had to get the correct one from CVS, can't remember). I'm sure the package has matured a lot since though. Any thoughts as to when LiveUser will become marked "stable"? TIA! jeroen LIMBOURG Arnaud wrote:
Hi, The following is user advice, not advertisement (well, sort of :) Did you have a look at liveuser ? It allows you to have multiple authentication containers. With it you can have any configuration you want, like one local DB, one remote DB, an LDAP, a webservice, etc. You can have the two databases authentication easily with liveuser. Arnaud.
Hi, I am building an application that needs to be authenticated against Multiple servers (two MySQL databases & two LDAP Servers). I have written a script that uses the PEAR AUTH package. I am not very satisfied with the code though it works. I am pasting the code below for your comments. I would appreciate it if anyone could suggest a more elegant approach.
