I have no idea..!!

G'Day All, Some one is helping me remotely to get a MySQL/PHP database going. This is on a RedHat 9 box. He says I need to install pear. What's the command to do this? It seems that I already have pear sitting on my hard drive from a prior setup of SNORT but pear -v says bash: pear: command not found, so I do not think it is installed. Based on what's shown below, what command should I run to install pear? Thanks for your assistance. [root@ADIZ bin]# locate pear /usr/share/gnome/help/user-guide/C/figures/cc_appearance_tab.png /usr/share/gnome/help/user-guide/C/figures/naut_pref_appear_dialog.png /usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/16x16/apps/sawfish-appearance.png /usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/22x22/actions/appearance.png /usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/32x32/actions/appearance.png /usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/32x32/apps/sawfish-appearance.png /usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/48x48/apps/sawfish-appearance.png /usr/src/linux-2.4.20-6/drivers/video/font_pearl_8x8.c /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/Archive /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/Archive/docs /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/Archive/docs/Tar.txt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/Archive/Tar.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/CMD.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/CODING_STANDARDS /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/Makefile.frag /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/README /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/System.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/catalog /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/install-pear.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/install-pear.txt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/package-Archive_Tar.xml /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/package-Console_Getopt.xml /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/package-PEAR.xml /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/package.dtd /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/template.spec /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/Console /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/Console/tests /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/Console/tests/001-getopt.phpt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/Console/Getopt.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/DB /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/OS /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/OS/Guess.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Command /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Command/Auth.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Command/Build.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Command/Common.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Command/Config.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Command/Install.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Command/Package.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Command/Registry.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Command/Remote.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Autoloader.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Builder.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Command.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Common.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Config.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Dependency.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Installer.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Packager.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Registry.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Remote.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Frontend /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/PEAR/Frontend/CLI.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/docs /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/docs/Archive_Tar.txt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/packages /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/packages/DB-1.3.tar /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/packages/HTTP-1.2.tar /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/packages/Mail-1.0.1.tar /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/packages/Net_SMTP-1.0.tar /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/packages/Net_Socket-1.0.1.tar /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/packages/XML_Parser-1.0.1.tar /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/packages/XML_RPC-1.0.4.tar /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/scripts /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/scripts/pear.bat /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/scripts/pear.in /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/scripts/pear.sh /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/scripts/pearcmd.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/scripts/pearwin.php /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/merge.input /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/pear1.phpt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/pear_autoloader.phpt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/pear_config.phpt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/pear_error.phpt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/pear_error2.phpt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/pear_error3.phpt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/pear_error4.phpt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/pear_registry.phpt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/pear_system.phpt /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/php.ini /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/system.input /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/toonew.conf /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/user.input /snortinstall/php-4.3.2/pear/tests/user2.input /www/htdocs/adodb/adodb-errorpear.inc.php /www/htdocs/adodb/adodb-pear.inc.php /www/htdocs/adodb/tests/testpear.php /www/php/bin/pear /www/php/lib/php/pearcmd.php [root@ADIZ bin]#
