Hi all
I have a problem with updates on my mssql server.
I use this code to update a row (bauer_id is PK)
$sth = $db->autoPrepare($CT_BAUER, $table_fields, DB_AUTOQUERY_UPDATE, 'bauer_id = 1'
);
$db->execute($sth, $table_values);
I work with ms sql server in production and mysql on my workstation (who wants to have an sql server
on his ws? :)
On mysql everything works fine. But on the sql server no rows were updatet (but no error occours).
If I tried it without the where clausel like this:
$sth = $db->autoPrepare($CT_BAUER, $table_fields, DB_AUTOQUERY_UPDATE);
$db->execute($sth, $table_values);
everything works (generally all the rows were updated and thats not verry usefully).
Another hint, if I use the autoexecute statement, an error will occour on mssql, on mysql no
problem.
I also tried to execute an normal update like this
update bauer set bezeichnung = 'abc' where bauer_id = 1
in a sql front end and it worked.
No problems with inserts and deletes on mssql and mysql.
Thanks Marco
