I currently have different pear versions under
C:\php\pear <- php 4.1.2 install
C:\cvsroot\php4\pear
C:\cvsroot\pear
The version of PEAR that came with PHP contains older files
(mostly last modified Nov. 13 2001) than both cvs snapshots,
but it has more packages than the cvs snapshot of php4/pear
that I got this morning.
I completely understand that I should leave my cvsroot/pear
snapshot seperate from everything else.
I am just wondering if it is appropriate for me to update my
C:\php\pear folder with the php4/pear snapshot. This seems
like it will overwrite most, but not all of the packages.
thank you,
