Maybe you wanna take a look at http://pear.php.net/package/File_Passwd . At
the bottom there is the version and dependency list, where version 1.0b2 has
"(optional)" beside Crypt_Chap and version 1.0.0 doesn't have. So, I assume,
the optionallity has been dropped.
