Afaik, Pierre is the one in control of that. He's the one doing the decisions. From earlier discussions on the lists, I gather that he doesn't want to bundle releases that have not been proven stable. This means that the bundled versions will always be a bit older than the latest releases, even when the PHP release is first released. Klaus
