Bug Assigning

Hi people. One issue I want to raise, if QA is going to assign long outstanding bugs to maintainers, don't assign feature requests, like you see manison nor alexey like this, and I fully understand that, it would be rather in order to email the maintainers of X package regarding the issue that X bug has been open for X time and hasn't been touched. It's more likely that people won't go nuts over this then ;) Actually QA shouldn't be assigning bugs to people unless necessary, so it's not a QA action to overhaul the bug database and assign as much bugs as you can ;) Just wanted to raise this point since QA should be talking to devs through email or irc or something, before taking actions. -- Regards Helgi
