I'm getting this when I try and do 'pear package'
PEAR_Packager: tarball creation failed
That needs more investigation..
Installing an old package I made earlier..
pear install DB_DataObject-1.7.4.tgz
Invalid checksum for file "package.xml)\uffff\uffff\uffff\uffff\uffff'...... and lots of bad characters...
This may be problems with the php5 snapshot though..
