Hi all, Just to let you know, I completed unit tests for installation and 90% of the download features today (the only tests left involve determining the version to download if a package is already installed, and verifying error conditions actually error out). Regression tests yet to be written include: --anything to do with PEAR_Packager or PECL source building --uninstallation --Console_GetOpt --PEAR_Command and commands --a few PEAR_Common methods After that, we are definitely ready to build all new core features from the tests first, guaranteeing non-breakage with both new and old stuff. This will be a good thing (tm), and certainly speed up the march to real stability. Greg
