Sounds reasonable, 2 questions: 1) Is there a way to revert my previous move of those files, in cvs ?No, you can only remove the new files and add the old files.
2) in package.xml, does files with other roles than 'php' need a 'baseinstalldir' ? (if not, doesn't this create possible problems for 2 packages of a different channel but with the same name?)No, you don't need it. Short example with "php", "doc" and "data" roles: http://cvs.php.net/viewvc.cgi/pear/HTML_QuickForm_Renderer_Tableless/package2.xml?revision=1.26&view=markup I'm not sure how the non-"php" roles are handled for other channels, but I hope that conflicts are avoided like with the "php" role. But your package shouldn't be affected anyway, it is very unlikely that another channel will have a package with "PEAR" in its name. Regards, Mark -- http://www.markwiesemann.eu
