Taking over Auth_PrefManager and Auth_PrefManager2

I would like to take over development of Auth_PrefManager and Auth_PrefManager2. I was actually asked to and accepted taking over lead of Auth_PrefManager back in early 2005 but between me accepting and the package getting updated Jon Wood disappeared. With Greg's recent updating of active/inactive status its come to my attention that these packages have been orphaned, as such i'm trying again to get applied as a lead.
