Hi,
The VersionControl_SVN package seems to be orphaned, the most recent open bug report is well over 7 months old, and there doesn't seem to be any activity.
As one of the lead devs on the Phing project [1] I use and work with the package on a regular basis, and would like to contribute to PEAR and take care of some of the issues.
regards,
Michiel
