Maintenance of Net_GeoIP

Hi I would hereby like to request permission to take over the unmaintained project Net_GeoIP. I've been using this module myself for a while and have been doing PHP & C++ development for 7 years, therefore I feel confident that I can handle this task. I feel that it would be a benefit to myself and others using this module if I were to contribute to it's development. I've worked on a few open source projects before and would really like to help out this project as it's something that I'm familiar with and it would give me great pleasure to help the community. Kind regards Lionel Pinkhard
