But the other lines in the area are using tabs, so things are akilter (as witnessed in that patch email and in my editor). So, if you don't want to do a tab to space conversion (which will save more headaches in the long run), then tweak the line(s) you worked on by deleting the leading spaces on your new lines and copy a tab character then paste them in until the nesting lines up.
