Well understand that, the stats.php, hardly no one knows about it, like
you have seen through the time, my test env behaves differently then
pearweb so I'm having stats.php online to test on real env.
There isn't any link or anything to it from the site.
Also just took some time yesterday to change the sql part so we could
get all packages on that list like _many_ requested, as the system was
coded (bugs.php.net) only packages/categories with bugs were shown.
Also stats.php should still be looked upon as beta code :) lot of
cleaning needs to be done there (well in the whole bug system bug ey :D)
Regarding the hack for the search.php so pseduo things could be
searched, that hack was ugly indeed, but I just figured that out to
late, and I've very very short time theses days (not saying you guys
have more time then me though) but I just throwed something togather
before going to sleep so that the search system would actually work, and
when I woke up Dan had fixed things up (which he has done few times for
me, Thanks Dan, you've been helpful in, well guiding me sometimes :P).
But I have to admint, sometimes I don't see the big picture or just
hurry todo things and end up making ugly hacks so I don't have to think
about that thing for some time :) Guilty as charged ;)
But anyway I'll try to take more time into things I'm doing and see if I
can do things in a better way.
Hope this clears things up a little. (And no I'm not taking this
personally if it seems so :))
