Bug description: assignment to $this in include/xmlrpc-cache.php

Assignment to $this is illegal in PHP 5. This is done three times in
include/xmlrpc-cache.php.
While the live server is still in PHP 4, it will eventually be upgraded.
In addition, I, and I assume others, test pearweb on development boxes
that run PHP 5.
Reproduce code:

1) Install PHP 5
2) Upload a new release.
3) Press the validate button.
Expected result:
----------------
Released.
Actual result:
