Hi there,
because of the recent bug feature request from klaus, about filling in
all data for the developers and all that, dan raised the issue that the
bug system doesn't use md5 hashes on the passwords for the reports, this
is a issue we should have fixed long time ago.
So I propose we boost up the passwd field to 32 chars and start
supporting plain passwords AND md5 hashed passwords (i.e. we would
change the system to md5 hash all passwords from now on) or just boost
up the chars and make some script that will loop through all the bugdb
and update all the passwords to md5 hash and make the bug system only
support that kinda passwords :)
Any input on that ?
(we can also use SHA1 I guess if we really want to ;D)
