No and yes. The insert MUST be done when the table is updated. The update can be changed after. But, feel free to change it for me. Upon further thought, guess that in order to avoid problems of the script and table being out of synch, it'd be best to alter the insert statement in three steps. First, add the existing column names like this vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv INSERT INTO tbl (col1, col2, etc) VALUES... Then alter the table. FINALLY, then add the new column to the insert statement.
