Hello Peter,
I forward your mail to pear-doc, the PEAR documentation mailing list.
As far as I know there's a German version of the manual but nobody is
currently working on it. The guys on the doc list will probably confirm
this.
Thanks for offering your help, it is very apprecitated.

Hi, I just have seen, that there is no complete german translation of pear.php.net , consequently I wanted to ask, if there is someone working on it, or rather do you need a translator for a german version? I'm a native german speaker and one of my major courses is english, so that it would be a good exercise for me translating it. Please reply, Peter Hüwe
