Can only e-mail subscriber post ?

Hello, Yesterday I decided to subscribe to news:// instead of e-mail in my Mozilla box. Seems to be I could not post message anymore...(pear-dev) Am I required to be an e-mail subscriber to do that ? Not working for news subscribers ? <<<<< I turned back to e-mail service and it's ok now >>>>> I got certainly such problem with qa list, just I learn the failure after a whole week. I can really understand that posts should be right identified, no worry. ;) Just, if all that right, it should be better to announce that fact on the primary mailing list page http://pear.php.net/support/lists.php.
