aha! I think I know what is wrong

Hi all, I think I know the problem! The reason that pearweb/peclweb keep dying is indeed timed with Steph's activity because there are two copies of signatures.php, and the signatures for peclweb and pearweb are different. So, the signatures cache for peclweb was overwriting the signatures cache for pearweb, hence the complete destruction of the xml-rpc interface. The solution is to change signatures.php in peclweb so that it saves the sig cache under another name. Greg
