Thing is, for most packages, that's how it works. For example, I know the DB trackbacks were going to the maintainers.Thats the point. I switched off mailings to pear-dev when Pierre requested that. The DB_DataObject mails seem to be send here because of a bug. I will have time over the weekend to look for that bug and fix it. If anyone of you has time earlier, feel free to commit a fix.
