If you want to abstract the session name, etc, then you can pull out a
Session:: class from Horde cvs's Attic. It abstracted the name, all of the
session operations, and was a bare wrapper around the php4 stuff. We dropped
it, because it was pointless. If you want to do save_handlers, then that's much
better handled with a prepend_file directive.
PHPlib's session class was designed for when there was no session support in
php4. Spooging it onto the current situation doesn't make sense.
