oci8 syntax in DB.php ?

Hey guys,
Seem to be having a bit of a problem using oracle + DB.php.
I can connect to the database with no problems using OCILogon, but when
using this:
$db = DB::connect( "oci8://$dbuser:$dbpass@$dbname/$dbhost" );
Which I believe is wrong, or
$db = DB::connect( "oci8://$dbuser:$dbpass@$dbname" );
Is what I think it should be. Regardless they both don't work.
The error that I am getting back is:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ocilogon() in DB/oci8.php on line
86
Any ideas ?
