You have a couple of options;
You can use <input type="whatever" name="array[]">, <input
type="whatever" name="array[]"> to get a basic array
or <input type="whatever" name="array[field1]">, <input
type="whatever" name="array[field2]"> to get an associative array (no quotes
around the field name, not sure why).
IMHO the second option is far more useful.
(FYI, You'll generally get faster answers to this type of question on php-general)
