Unicode::String and Unicode::Map

Hello all, I'm currently translating some code from Perl to PHP. The Perl code requires the CPAN modules Unicode::String and Unicode::Map, which contain functionality not available in the core PHP language. I'm going to try my hand at converting these Perl modules into PHP classes, and figured I should probably do them in such a way that they can become part of PEAR. So, as per the PEAR readme, I'd like to create a new top-level dir called "Unicode".
