Hello,
I don't want to cause flame, but i strongly need some aruments and
opinions. Please, help me.
The question is if where is a need to write a templating extension for
PHP. All the projects (those i know about, offcourse) where people were
managing to are no longer updated.
Arguments for:
1)PHP has grown from beeing itself a templating engine, and it may be
highly possible that a extension for such a purpose would end all the
disagreements on the n-layers and templating in PHP.
2)As I'm not aquanted to the PHP internals pretty well, I accept the
possiblity that well written PHP extension would also be quicker in
templating than PHP itself.
Arguments against:
1)The first and perhaps the only is that the question of resources, speed
and scalability is often not about what to use, but how to use it.
Well, I'm sorry for setting up fire again, but every crop of information
is very important for me.
Thank, you.
