I don't see a problem with linkage to JRE since we already have a java
extension.
The issue is the license on the extension code itself.
Manoj: provided that you license that code under a PHP compatible
license (pretty much any non-viral OpenSource license; PHP or BSD
style is *very much* preferred), there should be no problems.
