Hi pecl-dev,
We are a group from Google working on the next generation open source RPC
library and framework with HTTP/2, called GRPC <http://www.grpc.io/>. You
can check out our code at github <https://github.com/grpc/grpc>. One of the
many languages we support is PHP and we would like to submit our GRPC PHP
extension as a PECL extension. We found this page
<https://pecl.php.net/account-request.php> and
were told to introduce
ourselves here.
The PHP extension we would like to submit to PECL is hosted here:
https://github.com/grpc/grpc/tree/master/src/php/ext/grpc
Please let us know if you have any questions about the project, and we
would also appreciate some guidance on how to proceed. As for the next
steps, looks like we have to:
- Request a PECL account via the form at
https://pecl.php.net/account-request.php
- Request for a php.net github account via the form at
http://php.net/git-php.php
There's an alias we would like to use, "grpc-packages", when registering
for these accounts. Or is individual developer account/alias preferred?
Please let us know if our understanding is correct. Looking forward to work
with the php.net and pecl community on this!
-Stanley
