Hi!
Are there any plans to release a PHP 7 compatible version of
<https://pecl.php.net/package/dbase> in the
near future?
FWIW, today I tested the trunk on Linux and Windows under PHP 7.0, and
also did a few commits (test cases, minor cosmetic wrt. PHP version and
copyright years, and I fixed an OOB read regression). So far,
everything appears to be working fine for PHP 7.
Probably it would make sense to also cater to the TSRM changes in PHP
7.0, but that doesn't seem to be strictly necessary.
Note, that I've also submitted a patch for <https://bugs.php.net/52112>
which should be applied to the PHP 5 and 7 compatible versions, IMO, so
it would be nice to also release a dbase 5.1.1 (probably best based on
r335148).
