The new PECL package sync-1.1.0 (stable) has been released at http://pecl.php.net/. Release notes ------------- - Now works on PHP 7. The same code base also works on PHP 5.For anyone who hasn't updated their extension to PHP 7 already, PECL sync is worth looking at solely for the fact that the same code base compiles cleanly for two major releases of PHP. From what I have observed, a lot of devs tend to move away from PHP 5 altogether (nothing necessarily wrong with that) or they branched their code and are attempting the impossible task of maintaining multiple code bases. With a little bit of macro and typedef magic, it is possible to enable transparent compilation.
