All,
I'm running OpenBSD 3.5, with PHP 4.3.5RC3 (the version that comes
with the release), and seeing some oddities with PEAR and Auth_RADIUS.
First, /usr/local/bin/phpize didn't get updated to know about the
chroot jail that OpenBSD uses by default, so I had to tweak it to get
anything to install.
% diff -u phpize.orig phpize

+++ phpize Wed May 26 14:45:26 2004@@ -1,8 +1,8 @@ #! /bin/sh -prefix='/usr/local' -phpdir="$prefix/lib/php/build" -includedir="$prefix/include/php" +prefix='/var/www/' +phpdir="$prefix/pear/build" +includedir="$prefix/pear/include" builddir="
pwd"
FILES_BUILD="mkdep.awk scan_makefile_in.awk shtool"
Once that was done, doing a "sudo pear install radius" did not work,
and gave the following errors:
loading cache /dev/null within ltconfig
ltconfig: you must specify a host type if you use `--no-verify'
Try `ltconfig --help' for more information.
configure: error: libtool configure failed
`/tmp/tmptDVwm30839/radius-1.2.4/configure' failed
To work around this, I modified /usr/local/share/aclocal:

My question is this... Is this to be expected? Is the problem related to the libtool/autotools on OpenBSD, or is the problem with something in PHP/PEAR/ the radius PECL? This was not required for any of the other PEAR modules I've installed. Thanks.
