Oops i forgot to reply to the list, i am sorry - i was in the train and thought i'd make a quick reply :-) To summarize, I am not very good at c / pecl build system, but I think i can learn along the way, and for now I got something i want to do which is apply a patch that will actually make php-ncurses WORK with php7.
