The new PECL package igbinary-3.1.3 (stable) has been released at https://pecl.php.net/. Release notes ------------- * Properly serialize reference groups of size 1 (these can be created by array_walk_recursive and other functions). Note that this does not fix the general case where values not being serialized are in the same reference group as a value being serialized. * PHP 8.0 compatibility fixes. Package Info ------------- Igbinary is a drop in replacement for the standard php serializer. Instead of time and space consuming textual representation, igbinary stores php data structures in a compact binary form. Savings are significant when using memcached or similar memory based storages for serialized data.
