I've spent months looking for someone to help me with the WinBinder core but I've found no one to date. I have two or three collaborators who are developing things in PHP, but there are not many people who are skilled in PHP, C and the Windows API and some time to spare.
Now I found somebody with those skills and the spare time, but he wants to do a separate extension...
I'll give you an idea, Markus: Why don't you join the WinBinder development team? I'll be happy to discuss your ideas and the features you want to implement, and I can also help you with the callback problem. The idea of passing messages to the extension can be implemented in WinBinder as well. I don't see the point of having two non-compatible extensions to achieve similar things.

Yes, i saw it, and in my mail i wrote that i was looking at it's source to see where my problem is, but i couldn't figure it out. my extension doesn't claim to be better than winbinder or anything, but it's my first project, so this is for me to try some things. And i want to implement much more low level stuff, than winbinder does (like animating window, layered windows for xp, balloon tooltips, etc. (all those work allready...)) winbinder is great for fast and lightweight applications, but i want to do much more windows specific with my extension. Also different from winbinder, i pass all the message processing to php, not only parts of it, by simply passing the message on to a php function, and doing no processing in the extension. Regards, Markus P.S.: i really like winbinder, so my extension shouldn't be an offence against it, or something... it's just for me learning extension writing, and maybe others as it grows and gets useable... if you want i can send you a binary and a test file, so you can see animated (fading, rolling, sliding) windows as i implemented them... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Antony Dovgal" <antony@zend.com> To: "Markus Duft" <markus.duft@chello.at> Cc: <pecl-dev@lists.php.net> Sent: Tuesday, March 29, 2005 11:17 AM Subject: Re: [PECL-DEV] Hi All!On Tue, 29 Mar 2005 11:10:27 +0200 "Markus Duft" <markus.duft@chello.at> wrote:-- PECL development discussion Mailing List (http://pecl.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.phpHi! i just subscribed to this list because i'm writing a php extension and need some help with it.
