I blogged about this a while back, it's a lex based HTML/XML tokenizer. http://www.akbkhome.com/blog.php/View/56/56.html The idea being a reasonably simple to maintain parser (with Zero dependancies), that could convert any old crap HTML into something vaugely usefull.. It's primary use at the moment is for writing web tests. I did have intentions of adding the flexy template syntax into it originally, but have decided that may not be the best approach. So the core tokenizer will remain focused on pure XML/HTML. It also is quite a nice example of how to use flex with a php extension to tokenize any type of file. I spent a bit of time this week killing off all the memory leaks and simplifying it a bit so Now the question: - flexyparser was based on the early idea of extending it to do the template stuff, but since it will not do that directly, It could do with a new name and putting in PECL. ideas: - sgmllex - htmltokenizer Thoughts / ideas anyone.. Regards Alan
