Hello, I am trying to compile apc from cvs, and I am running into the following error. gcc -I. -I/home/gordon/src/pecl/apc -DPHP_ATOM_INC -I/home/gordon/src/pecl/apc/include -I/home/gordon/src/pecl/apc/main -I/home/gordon/src/pecl/apc -I/usr/local/include/php -I/usr/local/include/php/main -I/usr/local/include/php/TSRM -I/usr/local/include/php/Zend -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -g -O2 -c /home/gordon/src/pecl/apc/apc_cache.c -fPIC -DPIC -o apc_cache.lo /home/gordon/src/pecl/apc/apc_cache.c: In function `prevent_garbage_collection': /home/gordon/src/pecl/apc/apc_cache.c:231: error: subscripted value is neither array nor pointer make: *** [apc_cache.lo] Error 1Are you sure you are compiling this against PHP-4.3? The line in question is: classes[i].class_entry->refcount[0] = BIG_VALUE; That refcount field in the class_entry struct switched from an int* to a straight int between PHP-4.3 and PHP5, so it looks suspiciously like the zend.h file you are compiling against is from PHP5. APC does not support PHP5 yet. -Rasmus
