Hi,
I scraped these from the docs and the source code. Hope I didnt miss any of them. It would make our live alot easier if we could agree on using the same keys for the yet to be created array2dsn() function in PDO.
phptype: Database backend used in PHP (i.e. mysql , odbc etc.)
dbsyntax: Database used with regards to SQL syntax etc. When using ODBC as the phptype, set this to the DBMS type the ODBC driver is connecting to. Examples: access, db2, mssql, navision, solid, etc.
protocol: Communication protocol to use ( i.e. tcp, unix etc.)
hostspec: Host specification (hostname[:port])
database: Database to use on the DBMS server
username: User name for login
password: Password for login
proto_opts: Maybe used with protocol
option: Additional connection options in URI query string format. options get separated by &
mode (used in dbase and sqlite to determine the mode of the file)
fields (used in dbase driver, see dbase_create())
charset
buffers (see ibase_connect())
dialect (see ibase_connect())
role (see ibase_connect())
port
socket
key (mysqli ssl support)
cert (mysqli ssl support)
ca (mysqli ssl support)
capath (mysqli ssl support)
cipher (mysqli ssl support)
protocol
new_link (if a new connection should be created if a connection already exists to the same host)
cursor (see odbc_connect)
tty (see pg_connect())
connect_timeout (see pg_connect())
sslmode (see pg_connect())
service (see pg_connect())
appname (see sybase_connect())
