i was/am having similar issues. drop a line to internals, as this appears
to be an engine level bug..

Ok, something weird:
When stripping all class constant declaration from my extension everything
works, but from defining the first class constant on, php crashes at exit. i
now put the line
CG(class_table)->pDestructor = NULL;
in my code, and everything works... it seems there is a problem in
zend_hash_destroy...
BUT, the really weird thing is, that php crashes while freeing the
function_table of the CE not the constants_table, but i never touched the
function_table......
i simply don't know.... if anybody does know, please drop me a message ;o)
