/usr/lib or /usr/local/lib ? --Wez./usr/lib actually... Change it thanks.. but does not make a difference. It find the Shared Object since the path: /usr/lib/gcc/i386-redhat-linux/3.4.3/../../../libCcCpiTools.so is fine. But it is not recongnizing the format. Unfortunately HSBC won't give away the source. I did decompile their Java souce and I could always re-write it in C from that, but it is quite complex and not a fun task. And I don't understand why I can link to it with a regular C app. but not within PHP. Regards, Mike
