I have been converting the documentation for an extension I wrote to the PHP DocBook format, and I
was wondering if anyone knows of a DocBook converter (from DocBook TO other formats) written in
PHP (native or extension).
I have been trying to follow the guidelines specified in the "PHP Documentation HOWTO",
but I
frankly do not have the time or willingness to go through all of the specified instructions to be
able to convert the documentation to other formats.
Are there any native PHP packages that can be used to generate HTML/PDF/etc. documentation from a
DocBook XML file(s), including all the bells and whistles of the current documentation generation
system?
Something like phpDocumentor maybe; I checked it out, but it seems to only be able to convert TO
DocBook -- or am I wrong?
