I tried it with GNU sed 3.02 and 4.1.4 and still got the same error
after a look at phpize I think the error occurs in the function phpize_replace_prefix()
{
sed \
-e "s##$prefix#" \
< "$phpdir/phpize.m4" > configure.in
}
$phpdir is /lib/php/build $prefix is empty because I built php with --prefix=
runnig this line on a shell gives the same error message:
sed -e "s###" < /lib/php/build/phpize.m4 > configure.in
sed: -e expression #1, char 0: no previous regular expression
is this because I built php with an empty prefix?
Zitat von Martin Luethi <pecl@humbapa.ch>:
when I try to build a PECL package I got an error message from sed
during installation and building of the package fails. it doesn't
matter which package I try. e.g.: pear install fileinfo
