Get rid of
#if !defined(isxdigit) /* XXX - could be a function */

isxdigit(c)

{
return ((c >= '0') && (c <= '9')) || ((c >= 'A')
&& (c <= 'F'));
}
#endif
in that file -- AFAIK Win32 ctype has isxdigit()
