Hi all,
I have done a lot of investigation into PDO, and have just finished reading
Ilia's excellent article in the latest phparchitect magazine. I do think that
this is a must for the future!
However I have one question, is there any plan to abstract the structure queries
into functions?
For example, I would like to be able to easily retrieve a list of tables,
without having to know the database specific SQL.
Is this something that has been slated for future releases? Or has it been
decided that this is more in the domain of database abstraction layers which
are built on top of PDO?
Thanks
