Compilation Options

Hi Friends, I have problem in compiling the .so files. I have a fully functional library[libmem.so] for which i have to provide a php wrapper. I am trying to compile the php extension with the library which i have. I have tried to compile it with the following options Ex: libmem.so be the library to be compiled with PHP extension gcc -fPIC -DCOMPILE_DL_MEM_MOD=1 -I /usr/local/php-4.3.4/include/php/ -I /usr/local/php-4.3.4/include/php/main/ -I /usr/local/php-4.3.4/include/php/Zend/ -I /usr/local/php-4.3.4/include/php/regex/ -I /usr/local/php-4.3.4/include/php/TSRM/ -c -o memmodule.o memmodule.c export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=.:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH gcc -shared -L /usr/local/lib -rdynamic -o libmemmod.so memmodule.o -L . -lmem the program gets compiled very well.But fails to run.with the following Error Warning: dl(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/php-4.3.4/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429/libmemmod.so' - libmem.so.1: cannot open shared object file I have also placed the extension in the appropriate directory. what are the compilation options for compiling the php extension along with the other library.
