If you're building stuff against PHP 4.3, it is recommended that you are able to build the whole of PHP; you can find instructions here: http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.windows.php (scroll down to the building from source part). If you're building stuff for PHP 5, you should use the new build system and its config.w32 files (similar to the unix config.m4 files). You can find loads of examples for those in each extension folder in the current PHP 5 CVS/snapshots. For more information on building using the new build system here: http://cvs.php.net/co.php/php-src/README.WIN32-BUILD-SYSTEM If you're not writing your own stuff, and just want to use the extensions that are in PECL, maybe you didn't find the PECL downloads on http://snaps.php.net - there are two pickle icons, one for the stable branch (PHP 4.3) and one for the unstable branch (PHP 5); click on the one you want. --Wez. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nathan Perkins" <NPerkins@maxmo.net> To: <pecl-dev@lists.php.net> Sent: Monday, January 19, 2004 5:29 AM Subject: [PECL-DEV] I just don't get it... > I am sorry, this is jsut the stupidest question possible.
