mailpars phpize problem

I'm trying to install the mailparse-0.9.4 package, but when I run phpize it fails with this error: #phpize configure.in:65: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LIBTOOL I'm on a FreeBSD 4.9-RELEASE system, running php 4.3.4 and PEAR 1.2.1. I tried getting things to work via ports as well, but that ends with the same error. I'm enclosing an output script that might be relevant. Hope I can get some pointers. Cheers, --lars
